Buzz Aldrin Giant Mars Map

Thank you to the ShareSpace Foundation and Buzz Aldrin Family Foundation for the grant opportunity which awarded us here in the AJHS LMC with a Giant Mars Map, curriculum kit, robot kit, and textbooks.  The Giant Mars Map is a huge 25'x25' floor map of the known surface of Mars.The map can be spread out on the floor of the library media center, other large space, or taken outside.  The Giant Mars Map pairs well with our programmable, app enabled drones and robots.

 

The Giant Mars Map shows the location of all rovers on the surface of Mars, areas of high and low elevation, and other known physical features of the red planet.

 

The curriculum kit and textbooks highlight the challenges of future space flight and colonization of the red planet.
